Material Handler / Junior Dispatcher / Project Assistant

Position Overview

Global Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Material Handler / Junior Dispatcher / Project Assistant to support our warehouse, field operations, and project management teams. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the electrical contracting and construction industry while gaining hands-on experience across multiple departments.

Compensation

  • Starting Wage: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving of electrical materials and equipment

  • Delivering materials to job sites as needed

  • Organizing, storing, and tracking materials and inventory

  • Assisting with dispatching field crews and coordinating deliveries

  • Supporting permit processing and tracking

  • Assisting project managers and estimators with administrative and project support tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, document management)

  • Ability to lift and move materials as required

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
