Infrastructure Assistant Project Manager
Global Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Project Manager to support project execution and daily operations across field and office teams. This role assists with coordination, documentation, scheduling, and communication to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining company standards
Location: North Plains, Oregon

Compensation: $24/hr to $48/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Support project planning, coordination, and execution to meet schedule, budget, and scope requirements
Coordinate project tasks, deliverables, and workflows across field and office teams
Maintain and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
Track project progress, budgets, and schedules; identify risks and assist with mitigation efforts
Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly billings in accordance with contract requirements
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and compliance
Assist with procurement, material tracking, and resource coordination
Support the development of project schedules and workflows with field supervisors and project managers
Review and interpret drawings and specifications (electrical experience preferred)
Facilitate meetings, record outcomes, and track action items
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate time reporting
Provide project support or oversight in the absence of the Project Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
· 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination preferred
· Basic understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications (electrical preferred)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Position Overview
Global Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, equipment, and tools that support our electrical construction operations. This role is responsible for keeping fleet and equipment assets safe, reliable, and job-ready while coordinating with field and office teams to minimize downtime.
Compensation
Starting Wage: $35 - $55, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair company vehicles, trailers, tools, and construction equipment
· Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, hydraulic repairs, and general mechanical troubleshooting
· Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, inspection reports, and parts documentation
· Identify safety issues, mechanical defects, and needed repairs; prioritize work to keep equipment operating safely
· Coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment availability with operations, project managers, and field supervisors
· Order, track, and organize parts, supplies, and shop materials as needed
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment in accordance with company safety standards
· Perform field service calls or mobile repairs when required
· Assist with DOT inspections, fleet readiness, and compliance-related maintenance tasks
· Communicate repair status, timelines, and equipment concerns clearly with management and team members
· Operate company vehicles and equipment safely when testing, moving, or servicing assets
· Support overall fleet and equipment management needs as assigned
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 3+ years as a mechanic, diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, equipment mechanic, or similar role preferred
· Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles, trailers, small engines, construction equipment, and/or hydraulic systems
· Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs efficiently
· Experience with preventative maintenance programs and repair documentation
· Must provide own basic hand tools; specialty tools may be provided by the company
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items and work in shop and field environments
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with field and office teams
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; CDL is a plus
